Elizabeth Goode

Elizabeth Goode grew up along the shores of North Carolina, soaking up the southern sun and chasing after her older brother. Her untamed imagination and obsession with nature fueled her sense of wonder and adventure and inspired her to dream up the impossible.

Elizabeth continued to be drawn to nature and discovery even after her family moved to New York. Despite the drastic environmental shift from blue shore to big city, she was thrilled for the chance at a new adventure and quickly adapted to her surroundings. Her drive for exploration shifted into a desire to observe, not just the world but the people around her.

That drive finally lead her to Oklahoma where she studied Animal Science at Oklahoma State University. Now, Elizabeth lives in Texas with her husband and two young children. Simultaneously a dog person and a cat lover, Elizabeth spends her days managing a micro farm and researching various weaponry and fighting styles for her books. She enjoys the Opera and the theatrical art.

Elizabeth is a life time supporter of AIDS/HIV research and prevention and domestic violence awareness and is an advocate for LGBTQ rights and mental illness awareness. Elizabeth would like to cultivate a safe environment for her readers to feel connected. An avid reader herself, she wants her work to give readers the same sense of belonging that books have given her. After all, life can sometimes be overwhelming and even impossible. No one should have to endure the journey alone.
